Dhruvik K. Patel is an accomplished legal practitioner with over 12 years of standing practice, combining academic distinction with focused, preparation-driven advocacy at the Gujarat High Court and subordinate courts across the state. He graduated with distinction in B.B.A LL.B (Hons.) from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, specialising in Criminal Law an institution known for producing practice-ready lawyers with strong foundations in both legal theory and courtroom procedure.

The petition addressed the acute and widely-reported shortage of PPE kits, gloves, and masks being provided to doctors and healthcare staff who were treating COVID-19 patients at significant personal risk. The PIL catalyzed protective measures for healthcare workers across the state, and it reflects Mr. Patel’s view of litigation as a tool not just for individual clients but for broader public interest when the situation demands it.
